Question - Passing State and Age data into the Subids?

Hi Guys, Markus and Ben
Need some advice here.

I understand we can do dynamic tagging on POF, particularly with Age, and State, and Sex.

My question is, are we able to pass these same data into the subids? like for e.g my destination url is website.com/index.php?subid={age}{state}ad1234, so that i can see the state n age data inside my subid data? Has anyone done this?

The reason why i am doing this is because i want to optimize by age n state. However the partial clicks log only show 600 clicks worth of age, no matter how many clicks you have. And partial clicks log does not have state data.

I know that alternatively i can do a separate campaign for every state. However i like to get the clicks n conversion data for all states in one campaign then, only duplicate campaigns for those states with clicks n conversions. This way, i prob save a lot more time.

My own testing so far shows that it cannot be done, as the subid data from my network only show data as "{age}{state}" and not the actual age and state, which was passed into the ads. An e.g. of the subid i obtained is "lp1{age}{state}ad1234"

Did i do something wrong?

I appreciate any advice on this.

Henry

i actually emailed ben about this. hes pretty fast to reply by email.

just do ?subid={age:x}{state:x}blahblah

its just like when you are doing a dynamic tag for an ad text, you have to have the : operator in there too.

Hi Affluent,
Am i right to say that i just need to add the ":" into the subid as in
?subid={age:}{state:}?

If i put just ?subid={age}{subid}, it wun work?

thanks for your prompt reply,
Henry

Clyde, if Ben and/or Markus are cool with me having 2 accounts, i'll give you $300 for your account or maybe I can merge the funds?

It would be nice if we could target campaigns to specific hours of the day without having to pause/unpause them manually.

Is this the feature only available for accounts with 100+ ads? If not, where do we upload these?

Available to accounts with at least $1000 deposited :) You get the 300x250's (shown on user profiles), 160x600's (shown on user messages between each other) and 728x90's (currently shown after all 110x80's, changes pending due to low traffic).

What do you mean by "changes pending due to low traffic"?

I tried the 728x90s and there was next to no traffic. Is there an issue or was I bidding too low?

They were being shown after all the 110x80's, so not much traffic was available to them. We'll be making changes so that more traffic gets sent to the 728x90's.
