POF in Britney Spear's new music vid

i fucking hate vevo too

@Ben ... how much does that cost? Seriously? i've always wondered, i have no clue i'd imagine like 30-50k

20 replies and the only two remotely intelligent; leadsupplier and Falian were ignored.

Wow.

@ Ben, I'm interested in the same thing leadsupplier asked about. If you don't feel comfortable telling in public, maybe a PM? I know it is a long shot; you probably have some type of confidentiality agreement going; but I'd love to know.

wow it was at 1:27-1:42...pretty good ad placement actually, wonder how much that media buy cost.

How much does this cost?

How come other website owners arent doing this more regularly ?

POF shelled out 200k for the ad placement.

Britney Spears 'Hold It Against Me' video earns her $500,000; Katy Perry slams product placement

The 29-year-old singer's latest video, which features some blatant plugging of products like Sony, Radiance perfume, Make Up Forever cosmetics and Plentyoffish.com, earned Spears $500,000, tmz.com reported.

must be nice. some easy and quick money for Britney until all the album sales and iTunes $$$ pours in.

problem with placements like that is I would imagine some tv channels declining to show it, certainly here in the UK the placements simply arent there, no laptop, no POF.com

They probably do diff versions for diff countries already, but I would imagine this will make deals with networks harder to work out?

Britney Spears is officially half a million dollars richer after sneaking in some product placement in her music video for her new single "Hold It Against Me".

The first plug in her video was pretty blatant. It was for Britney's perfume called "Radiance".

Then followed a few somewhat subliminal plugs for Sony and a dating website called PlentyOfFish.com
