Active duty Marine, honorable discharge coming up, wife and four kids, college student, lots of decisions making to plan for in the near and far futures.

It's election time. How is someone like me to find the time to thoroughly research previous lawmaking decisions, identify the positions of each candidate, hear each side, and make a conclusive stance for each particular issue, and how am I to do the required due diligence to know what's best for my Country as a whole?

Are local politics more easy to understand? Without a devout understanding of economics, how can I really speak intelligently about why I favor a particular economic policy? When is voting considered irresponsible? Is it more important to value the needs of my family over the needs of our nation? What is at the core of lawmaking? Are people inherently good or bad? Are we under attack from within? Is this an oligarchy?

Which direction is up?

As of this moment, I have decided not to vote.

YOU SOUND LIKE A COMMIE TO ME BRO. THATS NOT HOW WE DO IT IN AMERICA. YOU PICK YOUR COLOR RED OR BLUE AND YOU STICK TO IT NO MATTER WHAT. WHATS ALL THIS FAGGOT SHIT ABOUT READING AND DOING RESEARCH?

hahahha

After I got dancing around Apple computers with McGruin yesterday, I feel the urge to say something in these political threads, potentially starting another waltz...

Listen up fella. The year is 2012. More government/corporation scammery has come out in past 2-3 years than ever before, blatant as never before. I get it - thats the way system works, OK fine, but seriously, why people waste time going down to their vote-mart to vote is beyond me.

Two party semi-dictatorship aint democracy. Absolute power corrupts, always did always will. Those 2 parties have ABSOLUTE power.

End of fucking story.

People are so dumbed down by the influx of news and breaking stories DAILY, they dont even flick at some multimillion Wall Street loot happening each and every day. People are so desensitized with money, all you hear on the news are "million, billion, trillion"...I mean think about it, think about even saying the "15 trillion" shit 30 years ago.

Forbes 400 dont got millionaires no more.

Vote if you want to join them and loot taxpayers. If you vote out of political ideals, you're a motherfucking degenerate imbecil.

Every vote cast is support for the continuation state, for oppression, for injustice, for corruption.

55 electors for RP have filed in CA, and should be listed on the CA Sec of State site tomorrow. Their VP is Judge Nap.

Also, here are 4 candidates from some of the other parties:

And you can always leave the President line blank, vote for your local candidates.

I'm going to write in, "No confidence." Such a vote is meaningless and obviously won't be counted, but shit it will make me feel better than any other options I have. I'll probably draw a little cartoon of Ben Bernanke getting killed in some creative way too. Maybe smear my dick across the ballot. . .
