Should we ban people for starting new Bitcoin threads?

If Jon wants to make some money, he should start a ban pool on the forum.

Have people pay to get rid of, or pay to keep people. If it hits some number, say $200, then they get banned.

So someone wants to ban LukeP, they put $50 in.

I don't want Luke banned, I put $25 in.

Jon gets $75. Luke is @ +$25 ($50-$25). Once he hits +$200, he's gone. Luke can also pay to keep himself alive on the forum, but if the tide is against him, he's going to pay dearly for the privilege to stay a member.

All bids have to be public too. That puts some social accountability into it beyond straight monetary cost.

Someone smart like Mattseh can work out the finer points of this scheme.

Would it be payable in "bit coin"?

I see someone has been reading more about the assassination market. ;)

I like this idea. Perhaps if a bunch of you gais took up a collection to get me banned, it'd be much harder for me to return next time.

But then you faggots would just take up a collection to get me unbanned after 5 more months so once again; Only Jon would win. :(

Banning you would be the worst thing for this community.

I love reading the shit you post, even if it gets my g-string twisted up.

Actually this was inspired by Eve, dmnEPC and game theory.

In the example, I am the guy paying to keep you around.

Only Jon would win. :(
This was the primary point. To make Jon a lot of money by monetizing self policing by the memberbase.

maybe request for another section just for the sake of it? rather than spamming the whole STS with this thread. dunno just an idea

My brain automatically worked out how to build it as soon as I read it :(

hey, why not just let the speculation thread be and get rid of the rest.

And then all the Nicky cakes
Dickroll
Anarchy
Ron Paul
Obama
... Threads as well

Or you could just let it run its course and in 2 days they will disappear untill BTC hits $1500
