Random/ontopic: Just got a batch of 100 business cards in my mailbox that I ordered over a year and a half ago and considered a lost cause (and was refunded). Hm.

These are cute an all, but I need to be able to write on it if you expect me to remember who the fuck you are. AdTech just ended and I've already chucked some cards from companies I don't remember because I couldn't write down notes on their cards.

As far as the picture thing on a card - that actually is a good idea. Basil from MediaTraffic has a card with his caricature on it and when I look at the card I actually remember a lot more about our conversation. Funny how the mind works.

I was wondering the same thing. Is there a place where most of you go for business cards for great design and price?

Also is it best to have 2 types of business cards. 1 for random strangers and potential business partners sporting info about your SEO, PPC, etc. business, and then another one for summits and conventions for networking purposes with just contact info? What's your thoughts on this?

If you're actually looking for ideas because you want to have some made. I say go simple. White, embeveled, black text, small logo. I think that design is very professional.

I need to get new ones, these are more for my offline clients but I use them for both aff marketing and my local clients.

Do most of you have 2 different business cards; one for your 'offline' customers (contacts who may actually be interested in your SEO services, website design, etc.), and another one for networking at ASW and Ad:Tech and such with mainly just your contact info?

I got metal cards I liked a lot from The Worlds Most Innovative Business Cards - they also do plastic.
