How the hell does an offer go from a 10:1 ROI on one day (Through 300+ Clicks, and then be in the black the next??? (After 200 something clicks)

I'm running on the google content network, and haven't changed my landing page, ad copy, pricing, nothing.

Yesterday I was converting 1/10 all day long. Today, I've got one conversion after 200+ clicks. I think it almost has to be a tracking issue.

Anyone have a similar experience?

It's a well respected company on the forum, I don't want to throw around any accusations until I'm pretty sure that something fishy is going on. Still over 300 clicks with one conversion, if they're shaving they're not being too subtle about it.

with the content network, conversions can be kind of all over the place, unless your site targeting

Yeah, I'll go ahead and just say it, the network I was promoting was Azoogle. I spoke with my AM, and really had a hard time justifying the huge drop in conversions.

I then spoke with customer service, as well as one of the senior managers, and I have to say they are some of the nicest people that I've talked to in the industry.

I've come to the conclusion that it was just a freak occurrence. I'm certain after talking with them that it has nothing to do on there end, i was just pulling shitty traffic today.

Tonight I'm going really optimize my campaign, track each keywords URL individually, take advantage of google site reporting, and really track it down as far as I possibly can.

So, I'm not blaming azoogle, in fact I'd recommend them to anyone. I still have a lot to learn about PPC, especially the content network.

You state it's the "same traffic" but then later you say you need to learn how to use the site reporting feature. So are you site targeting or no?

If not, your ad maybe just appearing on a crappy site today.

Well, 200 or 300 is a very small ammount of clicks, 2 days is a very short time period and those variations can be perfectly normal.

I can understand that you don't want to waste money, but I'd just wait and observe.

Not enough data -> no reliable prediction. At the moment, you can just guess.
