Ok, so I've tried to get some help from the Wealthy Affiliate and others and came up short with this answer. If anyone could please help me out on this thread or in a PM or whatever, I'm tired of asking this question to various places and not having anyone respond or help me out.

How should I advertise zip/email submit offers, as in what should I use as a landing page to get people to submit their info and avoid that damned Google slap?

I don't really have any HTML or website know-how. Just a tad. But can anyone tell me what THEY use to send their PPC traffic to to get people to sign up for an email/zip submit offer? Now that Google has this new policy, I can't do what I was doing.

Thank you for any help, and if there's anything I can do in exchange for this info, I'd gladly do it (get your minds out of the gutters).

Thanks.

That is actually somewhat helpful, thank you for that. Here's a rep for the help.

I would also like to hear what anybody else's strategies are as well. This is, of course, my biggest obstacle.

Before you get chewed out by some of the rest, just go to the free ebook thread and look for the ppcclassroom videos on the last couple of pages.

They have a video specifically catered to CPA beginners

Great stuff. Too bad they don't sell logins any more.

P.a. If you sign up as an affiliate you get access to future webcasts but not to any past videos or ebooks.

Stop yourself there. Unless you've got really deep pockets, the best way to get into this game to to learn the very basics of creating website (at a minimum) and really becoming proficient in designing + developing Websites.

If you DO have money and are looking to invest, stay away from zip/email submits if you're only doing ppc. Zip submits can be a goldmine if you're marketing to existing traffic, but if you're paying for it, you're just going to waste money.

Bottom line, my personal opinion is this; zip submits are NOT worth a damn in ppc because clicks can be expensive and payout is too low to justify the ad spend. If you really are into the zip submit thing, try creating an online community around a specific niche and then marketing offers that way.

^ aim is right. You should certainly teach yourself some basic HTML and PHP (or at least just HTML). I believe knowing enough to modify existing HTML pages is enough to start. With the thousands of free web templates and themes out there (and other ones that are dirt cheap) you can find good ones and modify them a bit to meet your needs.

Thedamien - Cool, thanks for the tip. I've actually already seen those, and as far as I recall, Gauer Chandry admits that he sends most of his traffic directly to the offer. I just need a formula for making a quick landing page with blogger, or squidoo, or whatever other people use to make this a success. Thank you.

Matt - Thanks for the links. I've tried that method a couple of times with absolutely no success, but someone mentioned setting up like 5 per day, so maybe I just need to keep trying.

Aim - I know how to set up a webpage with a given template. I can finagle my way through modifying it, but it takes me a little while, and every time I try to do that for an offer, Google slaps me silly. That's why I'm wondering if there is a better way. And as far as making an entire website with unique info goes, I just can't believe that I would have to do that every time to test out an offer and see if it's going to be profitable. I'd waste half my day on one offer. Thank you though for the advice.

I'd get an html editor. If you don't already have Dreamweaver or Frontpage, NVU is a good tool (and it is free!) that can let you create decent html sites without needing to know html.
You can't get lazy in AM, especially if you are new. You will have no shot at succeeding that way.

Thanks cardine, but I'm more trying to find out what the best thing to send my PPC traffic to that will avoid the Google Slap.

Thanks anyway though.

I think making a page on any CMS is fine. Blogger, wordpress or What ever.

And you're wrong my friend. The video SPECIFICALLY name what you are talking about from them shows you not only the landing pages THEY (the lecturers) use but also other ones from different people's.

The video is called something with CPA on it. You'll have to find it. I'm not going to do ALL the work for you.
So just look at that one again. They show you all the tricks and it's much more recent than any of the ebooks out there like the Sherpa's landing page manual.

But the help here is always good. And more timely.
