Just so people don't feel as bad responding to a thread...

Okay, let's be serious for a little bit. Don't give me any unreasonable bullshit that certain presidential candidates have put forth. What PRACTICAL way can people help the US economy?

I guess most of you guys don't give a flying fuck anyway, everyone's jumping the titanic before it hits the iceberg.

Seriously though, I'm talking about practical ways of improving the economy. Anarchy will never, ever fly. Period. I honestly don't see a way out of this shit.

^That wasn't a joke. "Didn't Build that" was the worst case of Marxism of our times... It's like Obomba said: "If you follow me, I'll send you money directly, because all those greedy, stinking bosses of yours never will."

A practical way to get out of Crony Capitalism/Corporatism is very, very difficult because the people who hold the power NOW are the problem... They don't really get voted out anymore because of the flaws in the system, so it's honestly too late.

I do have a solution though, Jake and Guerilla have both seen it... But I'm not ready to release it for public consumption yet.

Also, people need to understand that a lot of these "jobs" no longer exist. Through automation, robots, internet or whatever. In staid of blaming company's people need to blame themselves for not adapting.

Turn the entire kit 'n kaboodle over to guerilla, charlesmartel, and I. We'll get this shit on the right track in a jiffy.

Add sumitdhawan and suddenly_ass to the group and I will consider giving my endorsement.

I don't approve of violence. I think it is morally wrong.

So maybe we could take every politician, every bureaucrat and every marxist university professor, and send them to the phantom zone.

Stop buying foreign shit.
Protectionism doesn't improve an economy. Just changes the victims.

As always, I have the solution.

You could always have another civil war. That'd probably jump start innovation, and rip down quite a few barriers.

But what about all those private contracting jobs? ^^ People getting like $50k for nuts n bolts which lets them go hire people. errrr

The Black Death worked this kind of magic even better. Rats and boils anyone?

In truth, we're undergoing a structural realignment, similar to the shift from farms to industrialization. Many of the lost jobs are never coming back. This is the digital age.

Adapt or get paved over.
