The exit polling is so clear on what sort of ignorant fucks are voting for Santorum.
Seriously makes me sick.
Most Important Issue
Abortion - Santorum - 77%
That really shows extreme denial on the part of the American public. That's the kind of denial that makes a country get destroyed in a heartbeat.
Only a public that is extremely foolish and can easily be lead around by propaganda in the MSM is
capable of polling like that.
But it doesn't stop there... For even more convincing proof of the propaganda machine at work, look further down in the Romney column where it asks about "Government Aid to U.S. Automakers," Romney has both Won and Lost this issue! After he pissed off the entire state of Michigan stating on CNN that they should "Let Detroit fail" I just had a double-facepalm moment when reading that line.
DAMN people in Michigan are dumb!
If Paul cant convince people to vote for him in these conditions then you guys can forget about any pro-liberty candidate in the future. We get the shitty leaders we deserve. I've even noticed Paul getting a lot more positive coverage on CNN, etc, lately. It doesnt matter.. Americans hate intellectuals, they hate people who aren't the norm.
Agreed. I knew this existed but I'm just waking up to how outnumbered we are.
If you would have asked me a month ago how many people in the USA are ABLE to understand the need for Liberty and vote that way, (note I didn't say 'already converted') I would have said 40% to 50%. Now I see that's just wishful thinking. Now I'd put it under 15%.
There is a lot of talk in places like dailypaul's comments where people have also woken up to the fact that their best efforts are going to fall way short for this campaign and they are starting to talk about the revolution that comes after the r3VOLution. Some people suggest armed conflict. (LOL, that'll work!) Others suggest getting everyone liberty-minded to move up to Maine, NH, and Vermont... With the eventual plan to likely succeed from the union.
If I didn't have a way out of the US altogether I think I'd join that latter group. They've got a good start with over 11,000 people in New Hampshire called
the Free State Project, and it's quite a noble cause. I expect to see that counter start spinning faster as Paul's campaign dwindling down.
