Premade Landing Page Store - what do you want to see?

Hmmm... I see what you did here ;)

Doing the same thing you want to do here, I can tell you there is definitely a market for cheap landing pages.

You'll end up having to give support for the silliest little questions.

"I bought a landing page... now what? Do I have to get hosting or can I just put it on freewebs (or wherever)?"

"How do I change that button in to a link?"

etc, etc.

Pricing: I sold 5 times as many $5 LPs as I did $15 LPs. Split test the prices a bit and found that would probably be the most profitable.

Hey whats up man? Yeah, I deal with those questions now, so it's not a big deal haha. I'll just try to be as helpful as possible with any questions that may arise and hope things work out for the best. I'll also try to include a basic support FAQ on the site where people can get the answers to their questions. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to slip in a few affiliate links for those that ask "Whats the best hosting company?" or "Where do I find hosting?" and things of that nature :)

And yeah, pricing is definitelty one of my *biggest* concerns which is why I'm trying to find a comfortable price range for most people. If I make it too low, I don't make any money after paypal fees - and if it's too high nobody will buy. Definitely a delicate juggling act that has to have a sweet spot somewhere.

Upsell hosting, upsell other services people ask you about. Establish partnerships with link builders and content providers. You refer, they refer.

Make sure to upsell your services to modify and rework your "affordable" templates.

Any time you deal with a lot of questions, establish a FAQ and keep it updated. You can direct people there, or copy paste the same answers so your responses are consistent and developed over time.

And a ticket system of some sort. Don't let tirekickers contact you directly, they will drive you bananas in the absence of a firewall.

lol @ 'compliant flogs'

yes- i'll make sure i'm FTC compliant by buying a $40 landing page from a designer who claims it is.

biggest thing? GOOD CODE, and framework that's built ground up thinking that while your'e making that great dating site, people like me who don't touch dating might be able to use it to generate leads for classic automobiles.

That is- build it in css, make images seperate from background images so that someone can quickly/easily change from some big sugar momma to a pic of a contractor w/ out opening photoshop and edting the 40 layer background image that's all exported as one.

Cross browswer compatability. That's my biggest weakness and why I buy landing page templates. The designs usually are mediocre at best, BUT I can quickly rip the compliant framework which I dont' know how to do myself and create something that I know isn't going to break in IE6.

Why don't you have a shit and get package at a reduced price that comes with no hand holding for those who can handle it? Come to think of it, have a separate area and keep the titties in there as most won't know what to do with those either.

Well I'm gonna fuckin' Tweet it. Nearly 30 people, barely half of whom already read this forum, are gonna hear about this.

More pages with data capture forms. I don't use pages that just have a button.

I don't know why all of the landing page designers I see on this board keep making pages with no data capture forms.

It makes me think that the designers don't actually do AM themselves.
