Hey gman, thank you for your interest in my service. From my research and testing/running this service on different websites, you want to avoid link spiking at all costs, which is one of the things that can trigger the warning in webmaster tools.

I am fairly confident this is how they are also deindexing blog networks by reverse engineering the link spiking.
