Product Sellers Forum?

place online where strictly product owners hang out. Some place to talk kaizen/multivariate testing, upsells, cross sells, customer reactivation and general product marketing strategies.
You'll be better off joining a coaching program or getting together with merchants you trust. This is the kind of stuff I talk about with clients, wouldn't talk openly on a forum because there's more to making metrics work than just knowing numbers.

I've worked with two big information publishers and a catalog company, both doing heavy e-commerce of physical products and advertising solutions. This is the kind of shop they talk about in strategic planning, periodically bringing in consultants and vendors to layout a plan of action. Even little guys do this too.

Real product sellers aren't sitting around forums. They are in someones platinum program (Dan Kennedy, Clayton Makepeace, Fred Gleeck, ...) or hiring a direct marketing person (Bob Bly, Denny Hatch, Jim Novo, ...) or working with an direct response firm (like my own.)

However, you don't have to hire anyone to get started. Just start connecting with others who serve the same audience but don't compete with you. Maybe they sell in a similar way in another market -- either way, have a private get together to share ideas and the results of implementation.

Best,

Justin

the new forum is not really what we were looking for =/

that is ecommerce. we want something for people who own cpa products or something near there. ecommerce is completely different

Products (digital or tangible) + Sold Online = E-commerce

E-commerce is quite a broad term and a lot of offers would fall into this category at the merchant level.

I thought it was what most people were after? Building a site/product/offer in order to recruit affiliates...

If you honestly think that "real product sellers" don't read forums, you're straight up wrong.

"Real" business people know better than the throw away money on a "platinum program."

Electronic Commerce is all encompassing, I believe. The forum is for anyone who owns what they're promoting, whether it's a direct product sale or a cpa offer that affiliates promote for you.

Have our own products, definitely interested in a forum on this topic. Please keep me posted..
