Should I even try promoting products that have no affiliate competition?

Most of the products I'm researching either have no competition at all or very high competition (credit reports / acai / dating / make money).

Do you think a newbie can succeed in a niche with no competition at all ?

Thanks.

AutoBuy.com -- Hydra 7120
Overnight Prints -- Hydra 7438
Ivory White -- Hydra 8268

Some of the niches might be competitive but the specific products aren't promoted by affiliates.

LOL, he actually posted the offers.

But really, Some offers don't have a lot of competition because they suck.

Beyond that though my biggest cash cow is a group of offers that my affiliate managers said not to bother with (because nobody can make money with it)

Just a recommendation to you, if you come across an offer that has little competition and you think you can make a few dollars on it, don't post it in this forum or any other. Or you will find that no competition product will soon be all over the internet.

haha - yeah, if you think they could potentially be profitable, try it yourself and maybe you've found yourself some windfall profits...

otherwise the offer probably sucks...

I have many others that I've found with no/low competition.
I thought that was because they weren't converting.

@ratamiss - thanks, your post was the only helpful one here.

new cars leads, printing and teeth whitening.

Not quite sure where you're getting the no competition from. Those are all highly competitive niches.

I was referring to the actual products and not the niches.
I couldn't find any affiliates promoting these specific products.

There's no money in the products themselves. All the traffic comes from the general niches. To get good traffic you're going to need to bid on high volume terms. Brand bidding is ok with a well known brand but for products like this it isn't going to do much for you. Maybe a click here or there but never any consistent volume.

Yea - I understand what you're saying.

But my original question was - let's say I research a niche (new cars for example) - I go over every possible kw and visit all the affiliates advertising in that niche.
If I find out that nobody is promoting "AutoBuy.com" - does it necessarily mean that this offer sucks?

Thanks
