looks very good, i'll be trying it out shortly.

i do, however, wish that there were a way to sign up for a combo plan where the majority of kws were tracked with top100 or top200 and the rest with top1k. i rarely have many kws that need top1k at any given time compared to the bulk of my kws that only need top100-200, but i really *do* need the top1k for those. going with a top1k plan for all keywords wastes your resources and my money.

also, do you display just the top ranking result from the domain associated with a kw or all the results in topX?

the api feature looks awesome. however, you seem to be missing python examples. also, how does it interact with the plans? it also seems unclear what actions can be performed using the api - is it just retrieving results or also adding/'removing keywords?

Hi Paulie,

What you can do is sign up for two accounts. So you can sign up for a Pro (500 keywords at $39/month for 100 deep) and a Basic (35 keywords at $15/month for 1000 deep). That way you'd have both, and be able to manage as you wish.

We track each page on your site that's ranking for a keyword. Our system is based on "pairs"--so yahoo.com for "yahoo" is one pair, and yahoo.com/search for "yahoo" is another, etc. You can turn on a feature in your settings that automatically digs through the Google results to find all the pages on your site that are ranking for a particular keyword.

Our whole back end is built in Python, so we can give you plenty of Python examples. Email us at support@whooshtraffic.com for any questions regarding the API--and I'll throw a ticket in for my co-founder to put in some more Python examples, as well.

Hi Paulie,

I just checked in with Parnell and he mentioned the Python examples are inline--so on every page of the API docs, you can see Python examples. We'll add a note to this effect as well so it's not confusing. Cheers!
