Provigil - This shit sounds awesome

I am all for stimulants, but would be careful with Modafinil . Tried it a few years ago - it helped with focus, but I had the worst migraines ever for the next 2 days . It certainly helped with the staying awake part - I couldn't fall sleep with that headache.

Tried half a pill maybe a month or two later - same exact result, the migraine just didn't last as long.

Stick with Jack3D ....

Has anyone else experienced these cardiovascular effects? Did you have any heart palpitations?

A palpitation is an abnormality of heartbeat that causes a conscious awareness of its beating,[1] whether it is too slow, too fast, irregular, or at its normal frequency. The word may also refer to this sensation itself. [2] It can be caused by (but should not be confused with) ectopic beat, which is a more specific diagnosis.

Hm? Did you mean other irregularities in my heart beat? Not that I'm aware of. Tachycardia is a known side effect of Modafinil. Though I guess most people don't have their heart beat raised as much as I did.

I just googled a bit and read a post from a guy who had this problem and his Dr. suggested to start the medication slowly which worked for him. On the other hand I read of a guy who developed severe Tachycardia after several weeks/months.

I guess we have to remember that it's foremost a medication for narcoleptics.

But most people should react better to it than me, and of course a few unlucky ones will react even worse to it.

That said, I can't even be sure if its legit.

I'm assuming this is script only in the UK aswell?
I posted 2 EU sources of it before in this thread. One is even located in the UK. QHI is the most legit of those dodgy online pharmacies that I know, but of course that doesn't say much. I know that they've consistently delivered other legit medication for years. Still, the modafinil could just be 800 mg of caffeine, or even really harmful stuff. Who knows, impossible to rule that out 100%.

Oops, took too long for the edit: It's been 14h and the effects are wearing off. Heart beat is getting closer to normal now and I'm getting pretty tired.

Now that my pulse is pretty low again I feel a very slight pain in the heart area every couple of mins. Might be purely psychosomatic? idk, I'm usually not the type of person to get many side effects, or any at all. Wanted to try it again at 50 or 100 mg but now that I had this one long period of increased heart beat plus the light pain right now: probably not giving it a 2nd try.

It aint all that.. I used to partake in much drogas.. and any drug that still had pills left in the bottle after a few months was no good.... I think I took a few of these and said WTF? Anyway just say no.. you will be better off.. of course hind sight is always 20/20

A little update here. Been taking piracetam and am VERY happy.

Right now I'm cycled off of all stimulants through the end of the month, so I needed some help.

I take piracetam 1g twice a day. I have the powder (it was cheaper), so I have to put it on the tip of my tongue and then slam it down as fast as I can with some fruit punch stuff I have as it's very bitter.

Every scoop gives me 3 hours of very intense focus. This stuff works quite well for me.

If any of you geniuses can find a way to make a tasty powder with this and some other stuff, it could be a huge hit. It's just so damned bitter. Or make cheaper capsules.
