Pulling hotlinked images with timthumb?

I've got an Auction2Press site that I'm using hotlinked ebay images on, but my theme uses timthumb to show the post thumbs on the homepage. Apparently, timthumb doesn't link pulling remotely hosted images, only uploaded images to the media.php. Is there a way around this so I can show the thumbs on my homepage and category pages?

I'm thinking you mean a2p, as in Post.

You have to add the a2p custom field to the theme files.

I don't remember how to do it, but if you look at some that already have it, it should only take a few minutes.

I'll go check the A2P forum and see if anyone had discussed it there.

Is the theme actually passing the image to timthumb.php and timthumb.php is complaining?

Edit the $allowedSites array in timthumb.php. It starts on line 38.
