Quantcast Accuracy

Once and a while I come across a nice paying offer, and I am not sure what demographic would work best. I like to find a few top sites in that niche, and then check them out on quantcast for some basic demographic data.

While it does sort of give you a nice ballpark, im curious to hear other's takes on how accurate their shit really is.

Nothing is 100% accurate. You've gotta do market research and gain data on many other sources like Quantcast and compare similarities in demos and go with what is most relative.

Oh I do, I dont rank Quantcast very high on my list of demographic research either. I just keep seeing blog posts saying use Quantcast and I comment telling them to fuck off bc I personally do not believe they are good for more than ballpark.

It looks like they just make a whole bunch of assumptions and then use an article spinner for different sites.
