I recently joined the network and after a quick look around they seem to have some strict rules about getting approved to run an offer. ie you need to submit the site you'll run the ads on.

Is there a way around this, if I want to direct link, other than putting down a site but then not using it? Do they check the site is your own etc? Someone there to hassle to get approved?

I applied to run an offer over a week ago and have not heard back. Are they that fucking slow or is that their retarded way of saying 'computer says no'/'no soup for you'/'stfu noob'?

Once you found an affiliate manager there, they usually answer within a few hours. My affiliate manager is for dutch affiliates only, so I don't think I can help much. I did get accepted with my site www.facebook.com though :D

Other than that, they're strict. Every offer has a set of specific rules.

Affiliate networks in Europe (like Zanox) differ a lot from American ones. A lot more rules, lower payouts, usually % payouts instead of 'per lead' payouts, much less scammy and get-rich-quick offers and a 'we only pay affiliates when our advertisers pay us' policy.

Yes, they are that slow. A week is quite normal.
As for the website question, I just put a small website I have, it doesn't have to be relevant to the offer (most of the time they won't check it anyway). Direct linking is fine for some offers, always check the conditions (I learnt the hard way).

LOL thats exactly what I put for the offer I applied for. They are going to get suspicious now, thinking I stole your site, ay?

If they ask, you sold it to me.

Yep, its similar with the Australian ones. net 60 payments too. meh.

Any other decent ones besides Zanox?

TradeDoubler, but they're not as good as Zanox. You have to know the language of the country you want to target, if you want to use their interface.
And TradeTracker, but they're only active in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
