Question: is there a market for buying and selling facebook fanpages?

Especially facebook fanpages that have notes that rank in Google and earn through Amazon?

I've been searching on Google and elsewhere and can't find much info on this - came across one blog looking to buy fanpages with a lot of likes (which is a bit daft, it's not the likers who buy your stuff, it's the people who land on your note from Google).

Have a couple of these types of fanpages, that rank nicely in Google and make money, that I want to sell to pay for a new project - it's just that I'm not sure there are buyers. If anyone knows of a fanpage marketplace, then please respond to this thread.
 


I don't know about any marketplaces for fan pages... but I would think it wouldn't be too hard to find buyers if you have the right niche... Your target would be websites that are in the same niche as your fan page... especially ones that don't have a FB page yet.

I know that on places like MMD and BHW people sell fanpages all the time. Another good idea is to post gigs up on fiverr and sell fan pages that way. The only downside to going with fiverr is that your fanpage may be worth a lot more than 5 bucks so you may be under cutting yourself a bit.
