I found an offer that sounds interesting, I get paid on a (free) download. The offer pays out $3/lead. Clicks will cost me about $.20-$.30. To get 1000 clicks it will cost me around $200-$300, so I will need to push out 67 to 100 leads per 1000 clicks to break even. Is there anyway you think I could make this campaign work (as someone new to ppc) or is 6 - 10 percent conversation rate to high? My affiliate manager also said if I run this offer for a month he will be able to give me a .75 cents increase in payout, from $3/lead to $3.75/lead. Something to keep in mind. Any advice would help and thanks a lot for any information I get.

I'd say it's possible, but it depends on how effectively you're marketing it. It's hard to tell without knowing what the software is, is the problem.

Not to mention, if it's free, but they're paying you, it's probably got some sort of spyware or adware in it.
If people have a half decent protection suite, it won't actually let them install it.

Push him a little to see if he will up the payout from day 1 - or you won't run it. That would make your ROI a little easier with a bump from the get go.

yeah sounds like zwinky, i got like a 3% conversion rate when i tried it.. but im sure theres people out there doing much more

hell, mind as well tell you guys the offer since I'm not running it yet nor have any time invested in it. It's Myfuncards w/ NB. Any info? Thanks.
