Quick Question - Custom commercials with ripped content...

Hi

Quick newbie question...

I am looking into promoting cardio/fitness programs like P90x or Turbo Fire.

If I were to get my hands on a copy of the program, rip pieces of the video out and create my own commercial/preview videos and post them on my site, will I get screwed and my commissions get withheld?

I am not talking about offering 5 minute long clips, but making short 30 sec to 1 minute "commercials" with custom voiceovers...

Or, is this something I should be discussing with my affiliate manager...

BeachBody has a strict compliance policy, so you should run it through compliance first. That is, unless you aren't working directly for BeachBody, in which case you should ask your affiliate manager.

Yeah, definitely run that past your aff manager, who should then talk to the company.

If they spotted your site using the clips via a search without prior approval you might get a C&D.

They should approve you, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
