Well it's official, left my shitty day job to pursue programming full time.:D

Well you just found him! I specialize in custom web solutions.

My background: I started programming very young and have been at it for more than 12 years. I'm 26 now and I've covered everything from assembly language to PHP.

I've been an active PHP developer for a couple years now and would say it's my strongest language. I am also very capable with Javascript and jQuery. I hold a fair knowledge of CSS but far from a master. I also currently have a fair knowledge of Java and C.

I have strong knowledge of MySQL and solid knowledge MongoDB (been using it a lot lately).

Some examples of what I can do for you:

  • Custom widgets.
  • Websites from scratch (I'm not a designer though you'll have to have someone else take care of that if you want it real pretty).
  • Wordpress plugins.
  • Consulting (need someone to look over something and give you an honest opinion on what needs to be done)
  • Scrapers, custom automation.
  • Pretty much anything else you can think of related to PHP, Javascript, and a Database.
I've worked with quite a few people on the board and still do work with some of them. My clients typically turn into repeat clients.

I've stepped in at the 11th hour quite a few times to solve urgent problems and am undefeated so far.

If you remember I released FBSpy (an ad spying tool for a certain large social networking site) which ended rather tragically.

I offer discounted rates on volume.

I know someone will want me to show some sort of portfolio. Sorry it's just not possible, I can't just out work done for other people and you wouldn't want me to do it to you. If they choose to do so it'll be at their own discretion. I know a few people will leave references which will have to do. I've also been a member here for a couple years.

Rage is legit - he helped another coder I had working for me a while back solve a rather odd/aggravating issue with our script.

There was a tool I was going to code myself, well 2 in fact, but as my php is only slightly better than my Kiswahilie, it would be best if someone does it for me.

I'll have to write out how I want the tool to work and send you a pm rage so you can quote me or whatever it is you do! Gimme a few hours. :)

Rage has done a few project for me already. Since he speaks English not Engrish it's a lot easier to explain things to him (he "gets it") and since his prices are very reasonable for a US programmer you can't go wrong here. Always updates you on the project and doesn't keep you in the dark. Very reasonable turn-around times as well.

He's currently working on one of my projects and should be done any day now so hit him up for some quotes :)

He's done a scraper for me, pretty much almost completely re-did a really bad script I had a site running on, some smaller projects and now he's building me a site from scratch which should be very sexxay! So yeah hire him.
 
Just wanted to give my endorsement for Rage. He did a great job for me and I'm looking forward to doing another project with him soon.

If you're considering hiring some crappy cheap programmer, save yourself a ton of headaches and get a quote from Brad.

Rage is a pro. Got my work done fast and clean. Helped with some tweaks and had great communication.

I'll be using him for all my future projects. Solid.
 
I want to thank the community as a whole for the support and the work that has come to me over the past couple weeks.

I have a new exciting opportunity in front of me working on some kick ass projects with some kick ass people. So as of right now I can't really take on any extra work. If in the future I determine that based on my workload I could take on some smaller projects I will update the thread.

Just want to add that Rage9 is the man! If you get a chance in the future to hire him, don't hesitate. He put together what to me was a pretty complex program with a speedy turnaround, and what he delivered was better than expected. Mad coding skills from someone who gets it.

Not to mention the level of communication was crazy. He's easy to reach and responds in like an instant... even though he should have gotten tired of all my amateur questions.
