Rand Paul "Assures" Evangelicals That He Doesn't Want to End the Drug War

I'm surprised the drug debate still happens on this forum. I thought we reached the logical conclusion already.
UG just ripped him a new one. But like all brained washed drones, they will go silent once they are confronted with reality. That or they will make an argument ad nauseum (see hellblazer for an example)
Logic will always fail to compel a lasting change of heart in those who abandon moral and intellectual consistency for the common good.
Those are really the only things they said about Ron Paul when he ran for President.

- He wants the queers to get married
- He has the dope smoking hippie queers taking over the GOP
They used that above ^^ to scare the shit out of people during the primaries, just like they have been using other stuff to scare the shit out of people about Obama (see a Hellblazer post, any post).

You forgot the most important one; the fact that he would destroy the military and annihilate this nation's defenses, leaving us open to attack.

And we all know there's zero difference between what the Founders grew and what people are smoking today.
Sure they will, ever hear of alcohol? Far worse than marijuana.
The reasons marijuana is illegal is because there are special interests who profit from it, an entire economy exists on it being illegal and they have lobbying power. (a) prison profit, (b) police profit, (c) pharma companies who'd rather not allow a natural competing medicine that has been used successfully for thousands of years.

By far the biggest drug-related killer is legal prescription drugs. I believe #2 is alcohol and #3 is probably tobacco. So it's not that they won't let you become a drug addict, it's just that they want to make sure you're only addicted to the most dangerous shit.

It's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedoms. But that doesn't jibe with big Pharma...
