Rant: I hate Rich People

getting $10,000 per year and living in Canada looks not bad for me. zillions of third-world peoplez would eat their shit to trade places with you. lol

The problem is the average low level moron think they are entitled to more than they are. Invest in you future that will pay dividend. The "tried and true way" of normal thought is busted and worn out. For example these days if you go to college for less than 4 years you're pretty much fucked, and you see a lot of companies just wanting to see you have a Bachelors degree regardless to what it is. Stop bitching and start doing and it will pay off long term, how do you think everyone else is successful? It's not a magic fucking formula.

PS: do yourself a solid an not get married or have kids until your self sustainable. I have no real regard to people that pop out a few kids and live off the government.

Clean my pool and dust off my tennis court OP you damn troll.

I used to be a bit more socialist until I became self-employed. When you have worked for 6 months at half of minimum wage when you count up all your hours of hustle, and then some motherfucker wants to come along and tax that money and give it to lazy bums who aren`t hustling, you kind of wake up and go "Hey wait a minute".

Anyway, even the broke fuckers on WF are chasing bank, so the OP has to be a troll.

Is it even possible to live in Canada in earn $10k or so ? OP you are a douche. You are everything bad in this world!

Alberta $8.80
BC $8.00
Manitoba $9.50
New Brunswick $9.00
Newfoundland $10.00
NWT $9.00
Nova Scotia $9.65
Nunavut $10.00
Ontario $10.25
PEI $9.00
Quebec $9.50
Saskatchewan $9.25
Yukon $8.93

Are the minimum wages across Canada. How do you only make 10k? Are you part time?

people need to start distinguishing between self-made rich and ill-gotten rich. There's a great book called Free Lunch about politicians, companies and other 'distinguished' types that have used the political system for their gain. These favors, handouts, tax breaks, and other policy-makings divert huge amounts of taxpayer money into the pockets of certain few.

Overall this money is taken away from schools, roads, etc - Its really fucked up and you can't compare these scumbags to anybody who makes money with sales. No matter how useless your product or how shady the marketing- the customer opted in.

But taxes are something you have to pay. you also pay for it when your city can't afford proper maintenance, can't build parks, doesnt have enough resources, etc. State and city budgets get strained when so many millions of dollars are diverted to individuals, groups, and companies.

The common good suffers when the percentage of wealth keeps going to a concentrated few, and when money is diverted from taxes, or via taxbreaks, to individuals who are friends of policy makers. There have been many that have exploited the public treasury.

the obvious and clear divide to ultra-rich and growing-poor in america doesn't really help your average entrepreneur in the long run. the less money middle America and the poor have at their disposal, the less they have to spend on our stupid shit. No matter how stupid the shit- marketers and entrepreneurs are at the mercy of policy makers and those truly in power.

Its not just taxes, its job loss and foreclosures. Massive fucking banks and people who shape policy make changes that have sweeping effects, then the country gets fucked and everyone but the super-wealthy suffers.

btw i didnt even read the op. yeah I blame Bush.

Barman speaks the truth!

43% of financial wealth in this country is owned by the top 1% of 'ultra rich'. It's true these people also pay the majority of the country's tax bill, but only because there is such a huge disparity in wealth. Most of the ultra wealthy have bought themselves citizenship in other countries as well as set up multiple dummy corporations abroad so in reality they are likely paying lass tax than the average working class guy.

I just read how Google has brought it's tax rate down to 2.4% over the last 3 years...far cry from the 35% the average business owner is expected to pay.
