RAPPERS NEED TO CHECK THEMSELVES

According to DMX both Wiz and Drake are shitty rapers. He hates all the current female artists and I agree with him.

^ This, was glad to see DMX validate it too. Wiz is the black Asher Roth, no flow, no content, just stoner flows over and over. I could write a 10 page paper on why he's objectively & indisputably terrible.

Only reason you don't see legends like Nas or Eminem coming out to side with X is that it's career suicide to talk shit about whack new comers that have as much momentum as they do. Not worth the risk of becoming irrelevant. Ironically it's this willingness to stay silent that's diluting and destroying hip hop as a genre.

According to local reports, "dozens" of shots were fired at the vehicle around 5AM -- none of which hit the Rolls

If this is who rapper-gansta's shoot, Tupac is most certainly not dead.

I don't think Drake and Wiz should be put in the same category.

I mean, Drake is a straight up fucking faggot.

Next time you hear Drake talking about real niggaz and ballin and being a G, keep this in mind: Drake is a Nickelodeon Rapper According to Shyne

And there are a lot of closet Drake fans on this forum. I remember when he first came out, half the forum was going on about how sick he is and how I was just a hater.

Nothing, maybe he's just mad that he isn't on his level.

Yea, I dunno, I like Wiz.

He raps about smoking weed and partying which is what he's into, he doesn't seem to me to be trying to come off as a hard ass, unlike some others mentioned in this thread. If I hear Drake talk about real niggaz one more time I am going to cut my fucking face off with a spoon. The dude is a fucking Canadian Jew who started off acting on Nickelodeon, I mean come the fuck on man he's as bad as Ross.

EDIT: I do like hustlin' by Ross, it's catchy. But so is ice ice baby by vanilla ice, so I guess that's not saying much.

I laughed at the idea of DMX of all people calling others shitty rappers, and I also laughed at the ironic "rapers" misspelling. (DMX was once charged with rape.)

Not sure what you're getting at, but the first two albums by DMX are classics.

I viewed him more as a charismatic entertainer of sorts than a lyrical "rapper." I suspect that a lot of the people who still have highly favorable opinions on any of his albums are dudes that were in 8th grade or so when they were listening to him, and a lot of their feeling has to do with nostalgia. I don't think he was ever considered anything super special to a lot of the rap fans that had already heard a lot of other albums, like some of those on this list, for example.

I dunno, I'd put him on the same list as a lot of them.

I dunno, could be that too. Either way, I love me some DMX.

EDIT: Wait a second, I just saw this on your list...wat

Some good shit on that list - I especially like how 2Pac didn't place an album in the top 100. Most overrated rapper ever. Dying was the best thing that could have ever happened to that fake ass motherfuckers career.
