Re: SEO - aged .info vs. .com
For you SEO experts out there, would you rather start off with a 7 yr old .info with about 420 backlinks (let's assume low quality as I have not yet done that analysis) or a .com.
.info is exact name match of main keyword that is also keyword in 50% of relevant longtails.
.com is "mainkeyword"finder.com and could be built out as a brand. It has no age.
My feelings are that the .info would be easier in the first 6 months, but long term 12 mo+ the .com might be best choice.
Niche is moderately competitive. 1 major player and not much else. Goal would be to get to #2 for all main and longtail keywords and then try to over take competitor over several years.
Competitor has an exact match hyphen .com
