I spent some time reading it this morning and like his concept of attaining excellence in all areas of your life.
I read this and my first thought was "how sad is it that attaining excellence in everything you do has become a 'concept' to a lot of people?!"
A memory came to mind right away. Back when I started in that whole confidence / game / PUA shit in the early 2000s, I was overweight, balding, boozing all of the time and miserable. I was recommended to get into it by a friend who had immensely changed his life through seeking out excellence.
I was at his house one time, and the guy actually had affirmations taped to his bathroom mirror. Shit like "I will strive for the best in every thing I do" and whatnot. I remember laughing at him at the time. I bought into the whole thing as much as I could (I didn't do the sticky notes or verbal affirmations) and was rewarded with a lot of positive results. Improved abilities with women and more/better sex is just the icing on the cake when you aim to better yourself.
Could I do better? Absolutely. That guy I mentioned is currently more well off financially, emotionally, in fitness and in crushing top-quality ass than anyone else I know. Everything he does, he does well. Does he have failures? Sure... but he even makes the most of those. And it all stems back to his mindset. He is confident in all areas of his life, and it shows. Dude's charisma is amazing.
Perhaps we've created a culture where striving to achieve excellence has gone by the wayside... even in this thread there are people sitting around calling each other keyboard jockeys for not yet having the confidence or not knowing how to cold-approach women on the street.
No clue where I was going with this. Coolstarrybra.jpg
