I have my LP ready to go, but im wondering how many keywords i should start out with to test the campaign ... 10? or 100? or should i be doing like 1000?

Set up a couple hundred keywords and set goal conversions in analytics. Then you can go back in see what keywords are converting for you.
That is all. Trial and error. Finding what works.

you can start small and expand, but i would start big and shave some off
