Hey All,

I'm fairly new to the game of affiliate marketing and have a question or two. I think I might know the answer myself but want to check in with you guys so that I can be sure. I recently launched a campaign through adwords. I am not getting very many impressions, but of the impressions that I am getting, my average position is between 25 and 50.
Q#1: This means that pretty much no one will see my ads, right?
Q#2: What can I do to improve this?
Do I need to bid a higher CPC? Might there be a problem if I have TOO many keywords in that ad group?
I feel pretty confident that the wording of my ad is pretty solid, so I'm looking for tips on how to get better placement.

Looking forward to hearing back from you guys.

Placement is all about bidding. If you are ranking 50th for example, you are going to need to raise your bid (probably drastically) to get a first page ranking. Also, start bidding on individual keywords, not just a campaign.

You my friend have a long way to go, keep trying though.

Thanks for the quick reply Dimaseo. I realize I've only chipped away at the tip of the iceberg, but I'm digging in as much as I can these days and trying to make progress without losing my shirt. The good news about my crappy placement is that it hasn't cost me anything yet. Time to go in and tweak that shit.
