Did you read Jonathan Volk's misguided political post trying to say "Successful Affiliates" should vote for John McCain. Here's my response:
Reasons Why Affiliates Should think for Themselves:
1. Under Obama’s plan 90% of American’s (people making under $100,000) will receive a greater percentage of tax relief than under McCain’s tax plan. For Affiliates, this means 90% of American’s will have much more money to spend on products that affiliates promote. Obama’s plan will put more money into the hands of more people, which will then trickle up to the wealthy as the economy expands.
2. After making six figures a month, Jonathan wouldn’t even buy a big screen LCD TV, even though he wanted one… instead he waited until Azoogle gave him one for free (I guess he likes free handouts… he must be a socialist…I kid.). The point is, who’s going to jump start the economy… the rich like Jonathan or the vast majority of American’s who make under $100,000 a year.
3. Jonathan’s last name is “Volk”… guess what Hitler, The Third Reich and the Volk have in common. The Volk Enough said….haha. Volk supports McCain and his name is associated with German Nazi’s. Boo, scary, be very afraid of a name people… I mean seriously give me a break Jon. If your citing of Obama's middle name was a joke, it was a bad one, considering it in the context of everything else you wrote.
4. Thank “God” for the First Amendment… The separation of church and state is a must. This is especially clear when people on the right are so easily manipulated and made to believe things that make them vote against their very interests... but I guess when republicans have no problem with lying, stealing and cheating to win... all under the guise of religion, people end up believing anything...
5. It’s amazing how a proud churchgoer like Jonathan, comes across sounding so selfish. You’d think he might care a little bit more about struggling families who make much less than even $50,000 a year. I guess when you make over $300,000 a month you get blinded to the struggles of average Americans. In the end how much money does one really need? Is it really a hardship for wealthy Americans to pay a couple percentage points more in taxes?
6. I agree, but you also have to vote for whom you feel is the best candidate for American. Obviously, Obama is the best candidate for bringing America together, and helping the middle class become a strong again.
7. Understand who you’re voting for… if you did you’d realize John McCain and the Republican Party is a bunch of hypocritical liars… out to enrich themselves and keep the rich, richer. Are you rich and selfish or just someone who’s bought into the right-wing propaganda smear machine. In other words, affiliates should think for themselves and not let yourself get dumbed-down by Faux News and people like Rush, Hannity, Coulter, Malken, and O’Rielly. The dumber you are the happier they are…
BTW, I was actually the first to post that tax graphic on Wicked Fire… not tweak50. Click here. So you can thank me (jk, don’t worry about it).
Anyway, Jon… I do enjoy reading your blog and don’t want you to feel I’m personally attacking you, but I think you should open your mind a little bit. Your post clearly was link bait in a way while also trying to sway your readers, but I think you clearly lost a lot of respect from people (including myself), who I believe have probably thought very highly of you… even though you have done some not so affiliate friendly things in the past (like stealing other affiliates landing pages). But hey, we all make mistakes, hopefully you’ll learn from your mistakes as we should all do. However, we as Americans can’t afford to make the same mistake of the last 8 years this time around, not again “My Friends”… not this time.
