By that time, people would wish the industrial revolution would have never happened. We would all be happier living in far flung areas without any technology.

No defective babies would survive, no waters would be polluted. There would be plentiful fish in every river. Pigeons would be safe to eat. There would be no overpopulation. Concrete jungles wouldn't exist. There would be no fukushima, 9/11, Sarin, Chernobyl, Bhopal, Bear Island tragedies. There would be no indoor pollution from plywood, paints, PCB, etc. There would be no pesticides, preservatives, growth hormones and GMO shit in your food.

You wouldn't have to travel a few hundred miles just to get a glance of pure nature. You wouldn't have to worry about mass propaganda. Women wouldn't be taking up the roles of men. Children wouldn't be spending all day masturbating or playing WoW. You wouldn't have to worry about suicide bombings, drones, phone surveillance or hidden cameras.

You wouldn't worry about AIDS. You wouldn't have weak eyesight, you wouldn't be fat, would probably have abs, pretty much all girls would be slim and few genetically disease prone people would survive.

and so much more bro.. try thinking about it sometime

I have an interesting personal anecdotal about that..

Both my wife and I grew up in Christian homes, thus we were Christian as adults.
I slowly eased into agnosticism (though I can't remember why) and remained there for a good decade. And I remember throughout those years, when confronted with logic and reasoning, I still held onto this idea that there has to be something out there.

A few years ago when I became atheist, I naturally started discussing it with my wife who was still a Christian. She'd hate when I attempted to use logic (a) that showed many contradictions inherent in the Bible and (b) to show that faith itself is dangerous, as it allows you to believe in that which you cannot substantiate.

In both our cases, the biggest hurdle was the transition from belief and faith, to letting go of it all. When you're indoctrinated for decades, these beliefs are implanted so deeply that not even logic and fact can penetrate. It's based on the fight or flight mechanism.

Fortunately, we've both been able to see religion for what it is, and my wife recently said, "I can't believe I believed in that shit." A-fuckin'-men.

Religion will be destroyed not once people "grow up", but rather stop being indoctrinated.

I agree that collectivism is bad, but I don't think you're going to solve it with more collectivism.
 
The Only way it seems to stop muslims or at least calm them down, is what was done centuries ago.. and bury them with pigs..

Yep, it is a way to get an (anti)identity. 'I'm so much more tolerant and international than those primitive racists'.

The problem is that most of them can probably see that they're wrong now, but they are so heavily invested in this cause now, that they can't let go without losing face.
