Hi guys,

Was just wandering which affiliate or CPA networks won't shave the affiliate or cause such similar problems? and more importantly, which networks would shave?

I have already heard from different places that Clickbank has a tendency to shave the affiliate's sales after some time, that's when the sales for same number of visitors suddenly 'drop'.

Thanks for your advice

Im still fairly new at this, and from what i read it can happen anywhere and from the network or the company paying for the leads. Ive been running a few offers from ads4dough and havent seen anything noticeble yet. However keep in mind i am extremely new and still learning what to look for.

Hard to say exactly which networks are good or bad. Really depends on individual experience. I am only working with a handful of networks at the moment, so my perspective is somewhat limited.

I would say that the best way to test to see if you are being shaved is to run the identical offer with the same traffic source on two different networks.

Also, see this post from smaxor: http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate...vertiser-network-owner-scrubbing-shaving.html

For starters:

C2M
Maxbounty
COPEAC
Neverblue
QwikMedia
MediaTrust
MotiveInteractive
ClickBooth
Azoogle
Ads4dough
EWA

Off the top of my head, these are all legit networks, they pay etc etc And personally shaving I think is done by the advertiser, I think networks rarely shave if at all (obv depends on network).

Thanks for your replies guys.

I am still wondering how networks like Clickbank still exist, why won't those networks understand that shaving will hurt them much more in the long run compared to any money they are shaving at present?

Also do you know any networks that offer ebooks but won't steal your money?

shaving is not as big of a problem as you (or a lot of people here) make it out to be

people just complain. shaving is a concern but not a huge one. if you are running volume, they want your traffic and they will try and stabilize your EPC as much as possible to insure that they continue receiving that volume and making money.. if you are getting shaved, your quality likely sucks

I would say to stay away from brokered offers and networks that don't have a solid reputation here.. just do a search for the network and read as much information about them as you can
