Review Slapped on Google ..

That's a great looking site. Not thin at all, plenty of content. I don't see anything wrong with it. I've been slapped a couple of times and when I got them on the phone they told me they look for 3 main things:

1) Unique content
2) Relevancy
3) Navigability

It seems you've got all 3 taken care of. Have you called them up?

This is what they said:

"I understand that you feel that your site is a consumer awareness site,
however we feel that the main point of your site is to direct users to
www.ultimatepheromones.com. Unique and original content as well as a great
user experience is considered in our evaluation."

My guess is having negative product reviews and redirecting the traffic to ultimatepheromones.com may have ticked them off.

I would bet that it is the niche. You can do everything by the book and if it looks similar to other stuff that they don't allow they can/will mistakenly slap legit sites.

Trying to contact their support is like talking to a brick wall, or a stupid computer that is trying to guess at what you are asking...seriously they are so retarded.

I mistakenly promoted a site that wasn't allowed once, then a few months later promoted a netflix offer (obviously legit) with the same keywords and they removed the ad and completely banned my account because I guess they thought I was still trying to promote the site that wasn't allowed. After sending about 20 emails to their support people, they finally rereviewed the ad and approved it, but they never lifted the ban because they are that retarded.

</google sucks rant>

I would guess it's the products itself it's promoting.

Good old Google.

If they had it their way entirely, they'd have us:

1) Pay top dollar for clicks
2) Bring visitors to our pages
3) Give them a bunch of content to read
4) Pat them on their back and send them on their way

Spend your money elsewhere dude. Google blows.

A few things:

1. Make sure your site is in the Google index first.
2. Make sure your domain wasn't registered the week before you put it up.
3. Its basically a "bridge page" which violates their policy, your site will never be allowed to advertise on Adwords.
4. Google sucks.

By definition wouldn't every affiliate review site be a bridge page? Google is so ambiguous on this. I see plenty of diet pill sites doing the same thing.

Yep and that's the hypocrisy of Google. Just because you see sites up today doesn't mean they won't get shut down tomorrow. I've never seen a company put so many restrictions on how you can spend money with them. It defies logic really, but hey ... they're Google.

Had a site in a similar niche also instantly slapped. Guessing they just don't like the niche.

But it's indeed for me, especially FAQ and forum, plus you review 3 products, not one, like they wanted so their reply is complete bullshit from retarted rep who even don't know their own rules.

Maybe your product non family safe amd it showed to famila safe people lol

Take a look here

And then here

The site is still a load of bullshit aimed at getting people to buy a crappy affiliate product, you know it and they know it...

I would also add a price to each product, they (google) love different prices for different products.

Basically here is what they replied to someone on another forum (his site was about 1 rebill product by the way lol).....

"I emailed their customer support since I can't get a hold of them over the phone and they reviewed the site and responded with this

Option 1: Refine your web page so that it provides a unique user
experience and has an overall unique look and feel.

We find that sites have a unique user experience when one of the following
is true:

- The landing page for each ad offers different products or services (for
example, a large manufacturer with two product sites, one solely for
stereos and one solely for computers, both running on the keyword
'electronics')

- The landing page for each ad serves a different purpose (for example,
one site focuses on product information only and the other site focuses on
product sale only)

- Any product overlaps on the landing pages are not significant enough to
affect user experience

- The pricing difference offered by each site is significant and based on
the same criteria (for example, if one site includes pricing with tax, the
other site must include pricing with tax)

Option 2: Redesign your web page to offer multiple, competing offers from
different companies for related services. For example, a web page
promoting a specific book could have links to four online bookshops from
which one could purchase the book."

"So I chose their option 1 since I only have one product to promote. I deleted a bunch of posts on the landing page that wasn't necessarily related to the product. Changed some words around etc. Re-submitted and got this from them:

Thank you for your email.

As previously messaged, we'd be happy to changes to your web page, and we
appreciate your efforts to comply with our policies. The review process
for pages marked for poor landing page quality can take up to a few days.

However, at this time, the changes made to your website are not sufficient
to submit for review. As mentioned, we cannot offer you detailed or
specific advice on your website.

I encourage you to consider the following statement which I previously
sent you:

To provide the best possible experience for our users and advertisers,
Google does not permit ads for bridge pages that are solely intended to
direct the user to the parent company's website. We've found that pages
with multiple ads leading to the same site provide less relevant results
and a lower quality experience for our users.

Per this policy, I urge to to consider if Google AdWords is the best
advertising option for your business model.

Honestly, WTF am I doing wrong? My landing page is perfect! Google always says to provide the user with a good and unique experience, well first I am the only one that I know advertising this product on adwords. There are no other sponsored searches. All my content is unique, and I was getting a 15% CTR paying less then $0.18 a click. Obviously people are interested!!!!!! I am so frustrated with adwords. I would take my business elsewhere but they are the ones bringing me my business.

If someone can help me with this, I will give you a free $50 google adwords coupon code! "
