ok well im trying to get on the front page for the term ringtones,heres what has been going on with me.

first off my quality score is OK, but sometimes it will go to GREAT for a little then go back to OK. for the last week i bumped my bid up to 2.00 per click and that put me on the front page and with a 100$ a day budget i was getting 70 clicks in about an hour, so my budget was drained in an hour. out of those 70 clicks i only get about 2 leads a day which gets me 30 dollars.. so for the past week i lost 70 dollars a day...i was on the front page tho...so today i wanted to lower my bid down to .80 cents to still see if i can remain on the front page and get clicks while not spending 2.00 per click...this way i can actually earn money. well it turns out im on page 3-4 again..why cant i get on the first page, how are some sites constantly staying on the front page...how can i get my QS to great instead of OK.my min bid is .20 cents and im bidding .80, can anyne helpme
 


Your min bid/QS has nothing to do with it. Instead, establish a good history (CTR) for the keyword, and gradually lower your bid.
 
so i shold raise to 2.00 bids again? how long should i keep it there, im losing alot tho 80dollars a day
 
my ctr for ringtones keyword is 1.43 % how high does it have to be for how long, to remain on the front page with like a .80 cent click, its 1.78 im paying now
 
there is no way you are gonna get on the first page with .80 bids, quality score doesnt work like that. Those other people are getting on the first page because they are paying alot and proboly have way higher profit margins than you do, so they can afford to do that. Dont try to get on the first page, try to make a profit.
 
maybe I'm thinking that diversifying the keywords is not a bad idea?

Work with something that will cost you less to get more clicks
 
here's a good adwords tactic

type in '50 cent ringtones' and check out the douchebag running 5-10 ads going to the same azoogle flycell id, all with display urls like www-ww.ringtones.com
 
yea i saw that person its like get--ringtones.com, well so far ive lost around 350, so im gonna let it roll till next week with my 2.00 clicks and see where im at

NM: Looks like he is using direct Azoogle link..wonder how much he paying per click.:bowdown:

maybe the free vouchers on his 20 accounts ran out
