i had to quit promoting ringotnes, conversions when to shit for every offer that ive tried. I was converting at 10% when it was good, but now its inconsistant 2-5% for me
I was going to give ringtones a try, but over the last 2 or 3 months i've been reading that the networks are getting more and more anal with changes in terms.
I have an idea that might work and would like to test it out. Can anyone recommend me a good (with decent on time payout) network that has the largest amount of music offers (hip hop, rock, pop, whatever)?

i dunno what the hell is going on now but i cant believe im gonna go ahead and quit ringtones....
1,900 clicks, only 620 end up on my page (over 70% bounce rate is fucking bull shit when the highest bounce rate i've had for 5 months was 30%), Either somethings wrong with my landing page (i found nothing wrong) or my shits getting scrubbed.
out of those 620 only 29 conversions for a whopping 313$ when i spent 900$ for those 1,900 clicks.
Fuck ringtones and fuck azoogleads.

Whose clicks are you using? You should have your own click tracking. If you need a free one that can be installed on any hosted site that has access to MySQL, check out Prosper202. I wouldn't depend on the aff network's click tracking. Too much weirdness with click scrubbing.
well either way if i did find out they were scrubbing i couldnt do anything about it. I have the tracking cookie on one of the offers but ive been jumping between different ones recently i havent been able to get them to put them on the offer i liked most. Ringtones are dead for me now.
You might be surprised if you can quote the correct clicks what the aff manager might do for you. Just because some networks do click scrubbing, doesn't mean you should allow it.
As for ring tone conversions, maybe the recent FTC enforcement efforts in this space have scared the companies to putting more obvious terms and conditions and/or harder sales process. As a result, a drop in conversions for most of us.
Ha. And I always thought there's problem on my side. So 'click scrubbing' really exist eh? This happens to me all the fucking time.. There's no way in hell my landing page CTR will drop from 70% to like 40% with the same kind of traffic. And yet my AMs will tell me there's nothing wrong because the EPC remains the same.. WTF!
I was donig ringtones on azoogle too. I know something changed about 2 months ago because my conversion rate eCPC dropped to 1/4 of what it was. Let it run for a month and was just breaking ever. Either azoogle is shaving, or the ringtone companies.
in an interesting turn of events, azoogle decided to give me about 20 leads on ringtones when i dint even run ringtones today. Wtf is going on, bad tracking or were they scrubbing leads and decided to give me half of it back or something?
Sometimes the reporting will get behind. That doesn't mean that clicks and leads aren't tracking, just the report you're viewing.
P.S. There are networks that shave, but I doubt that Azoogle is one of them.
