I saw Waters years ago and he puts on a dam good show... (From what I can remember :p)

Snippets from Billboard.com:
Roger Waters hopes to put a global spin on Pink Floyd's "The Wall" when he tours to celebrate the multi-platinum conceptual work's 30th anniversary beginning this fall in North America. Waters' "The Wall" will be a theatrical opus like Pink Floyd's performances in 1980 and Waters' all-star presentation to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall in July 1990.

Waters and his band begin "The Wall" tour on Sept. 15 in Toronto. The show, which has only been performed 31 times before, will play 36 dates in North America -- including two-night stands in Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles -- then move on to Europe for another 57 dates beginning in March. Waters says he'd like to take the show to other territories, including South America.

I saw 'Radio K.A.O.S' and 'Amused to Death' tours - two of the best shows I ever saw. Amused to Death is a must-have album.

He did DSOTM on his last tour and had a really good band with him (didn't see, got some good boots though). Would like to see what his band lineup is for this tour. I'll definitely go if the timing is right.

I don't care what this costs.

I'm going.

Damn, I can't wait for them to come to Europe. This will be one of the last chances to get that soul trip. I haven't got the chance to do it while I was a kid, growing up and listening to them.

I saw Floyd w/o Watters in the division bell tour in '93 .. outstanding stuff. Will def be heading to St. Louis for this!

Do you think a 12 year old would appreciate being part of this or should I make it another drug induced road trip?

Drug induced road trip fo sho, make the most out of it as it might never happen again :) Would love to make it out there for this

Wait, he's touring solo? No Gilmour? Damn, those two together would have been insane. Regardless, there's no missing this event.

i saw pink floyd on the division bell tour when i was 15. It was amazing.
In the middle of comfortably numb a 40 foot high disco ball came out, and opened up into a giant flower. (or maybe i was high)

Nope, you weren't high. Happened to me at Vanderbilt Stadium.

I truly was comfortably numb that night, 1st and only time to smoke heroin (no needles for me thx).

I've been a Pink Floyd nut since my stoner friend introduced them to me when I was 16. Some of my favorite songs:

put on animals or wish you were here with some headphones and just leave earth for a little while

Only seen Waters 2x on the DSOTM tour. The show was good, but its tough to pull of Dark Side w/o Gilmour's voice/guitar. However, being The Wall IS Waters' album, it should be a pretty damn cool show. I'm sure he'll go over the top with the stage set up as well.

On another note, if Gilmour ever tours again, that is a MUST see. Saw a pair of Gilmour shows at Radio City a few months before Waters' shows and that was on a whole 'nother level. Pure transcendental bliss for 3 hours.
