I like the guy, but he's not getting elected unfortunately. Pipe dreams.
I've got a lot of resources I can throw at something if you guys want to take action now. Regardless of age/baggage, he's exactly what we need ... even if he's a running mate for one of the 2 guys listed above (Gary Johnson sounds outstanding).
Ron Paul doesn't have to be the primary candidate for his minions to support him going to the White House. We're talking millions of supporters and hundreds of millions of dollars ... and every evil genius on the net.
Meh Ron ain't got nothing on this:

Hell, I'd vote for anyone at this moment if I knew it would lead to smaller government. Republican, Democrat, Independent or She-Him.
Ron Paul getting elected may not be realistic, but his candidacy still benefits the system. The two party system is the root of a lot of the problem's in US, and even though Ron Paul is running as a Republican, he is one of the few elected politicians that is truly independent, and doesn't take orders from the party establishment.
The two party monopoly on power has to be ended, and the only way to do so is to support candidates like Ron Paul who are free thinkers.
I like him , he's not electable.
Find someone with the same ideas that DOESN'T talk about 9/11 , aliens, shadow government and the like (I don't care if you think they're true or not , they TURN VOTERS OFF!).
So , my vote is for Paul Ryan or Johnson, even Boehner is good.
The diplomatic visits would be interesting for those unfamiliar with his/her background.
A 3 party system isn't much better, look at Ross Perot. As great of a guy as he is , he put Clinton in office , and if you're on the other side of the bill, Nader sealed the victory for bush in 00.
As seen in Canada , all that has to happen is for 3rd party and one of the major 2 to do a power broker and then the winner in terms of votes gets pushed to the side and that's not a good thing.
