Quitting? He's just getting started...
You haven't heard the last from Dr. Paul. He's got an audience now. He knows what to do.
The only difference now is that he doesn't have to worry about political backlash for spreading his ideas.
Who are they going to revolt against?Arm yourselves, my fellow Americans. The time for revolution is here.
Who are they going to revolt against?
10s of millions of people vote. They believe in the system.
The problem isn't the politicians, it's the people who elect them. You can't change politicians over and over and think it is going to change the problems with a system which is fundamentally flawed and totally out of control.
The #1 responsibility for each of us is to change ourselves with hope that others will follow. This is of greater importance than working on changing the government; that is secondary to promoting a virtuous society. If we can achieve this, then the government will change.
Ron and I agree that voting without a change in the prevailing morality of the people won't change anything, and people who are obsessed with voting aren't interested in morality, but rather in the enforcement of laws.I liked Ron's answer to this too...

Not to mention if a politician lies to you (they never lie, right?) you can't do anything about it until the next election. There is ZERO accountability if a politician doesn't do what he says he will do.
You need to be thinking like the American founders when they left Europe. Travel.
What is the percentage of people that DIDN'T vote for one of the two major parties? < 1%
Gotta agree with G. What is the percentage of people that DIDN'T vote for one of the two major parties? < 1% So although quite a few people know about it they won't give it the time of day or don't see a reason to do so.
It blows my mind that people aren't willing to vote to change things.
With Ross Perot getting 19% of the vote in 1992 and the country in direr straits now, I don't trust Gary Johnson's 1% number for two seconds.
And to think there was no internet back then...
How many LP members of Congress are there?Lolz
