Ron Paul forced out of the RNC

The RNC and DNC are private clubs (like a golf club or yacht club) so they can make up their own rules as they go. People tend to assume they are part of government since that's where most of the elected leaders come from, but they are not. They simply provide candidates for office, it's up to the people whether they want to vote for those candidates or not.

I saw all this shit first hand once I became a precinct delegate. I had always just thought our system was broken, but now I realize it's doing exactly what it was designed to do. You can't fix something that isn't broken - we're fucked.

Yeah, I know it's not technically illegal and I know why. It was more of a rhetorically question, but they should have their feet held to the fire one way or another. They should be open to civil litigation and that's what I'm hoping happens.
