I don't need to keep up with physics research to know how gravity works.
But when someone tells you that it isn't gravity your dealing with, but some other law of nature, you shouldn't keep assuming it's still about gravity. You admit you're not studied enough to see the difference.
Yeah, you're a political neophyte. Believing in, and participating in the delusions isn't the same as understanding the delusion. If anything, it's worse.
I knew I'd get that response but I guess I just wanted to give you some background. Ok, the rest of that story is that I only voted in elections thru the 2000 debacle, and had a strong inkling after learning about the electoral college then that my teachings about politics were a little deceptive. I never voted again, not even locally, and until Paul came along (for me in 2007/8) I didn't identify with any party anymore, I was totally disillusioned with them all.
In 2008 I held a little of the hope I do now but the media very thoroughly squashed it with their userping of the tea party. I have thought of myself as a libertarian ever since, but thought Politics were pointless since then. You've witnessed everything after that, my rise to Voluntaryism and then getting offtrack for personal gains just for this election cycle once I saw Paul had new opportunities.
You can't be a politician or have political influence without seeking power. That is what politics is.
In my PM I told you why this isn't so in this one, rare case. For public consumption: Paul = Bilbo Baggins, power = the Ring.
Interestingly enough, Tolkien was an anarchist. The whole story was an excellent, really Perfect metaphor for taking down the state.
You think someone can do the right thing while doing the wrong thing. It's nuts. It's super crazy because it has been explained to you multiple times.
It's not crazy to try to take control of a speeding train that's going over a cliff... You seem to believe Paul would get up to the wheel and shovel more coal on!
He would certainly slow the train down, although he wouldn't have the power to remove the train totally from the tracks...
Am I crazy for wanting the train slowed down?
And you're not a voluntarist. You're a statist. You promote the state as the solution to problems. Don't tell me it's strategy. That's like those idiots who claim we need war to have peace.
Now you're just speaking out of anger. You know I would push the button to remove all state control if it existed... But it will never exist without education for the masses, and the way the state is acting these days, education for the masses gets less and less likely every single day.
I'm for a short-term solution that will reduce the size of government which will in turn allow the masses to become more free to be educated in a way that will lead to their eventual freedom.
Your tactic of hope and change seems to be doing more harm than good to your cause.
