Guys, this is getting blown out of proportion.
My name is Mark Henson, CEO and Executive Board Member of ContentGorilla. The company is based in San Fransico, CA, with offices in three states, including where deshae is located.
I only signed up to clear our name, but I'm not taking sides - just doing damage control.
Deshae has helped us so much in the past few months, especially with selling on forums. He's the one that informed us to do a soft launch here, as this was the forum that treated him the best (it's obvious it was months ago when we discussed this). Deshae has provided funding to help get our first office open, meet other VCs, and has provided insight into the market.
With that being said - Deshae - I'm sincerely sorry what has happened to you, but I think it's best that we part ways. It's nothing personal, but our support staff has informed us that they've been receiving messages of people who think we're you. Your reputation and relationship to us will always be intact, but the last thing we want to do is cause any more drama then what has already occurred. You'll be sent back all funding that you gave us, + the interest we discussed. That should help you with any financial issues you may or may not be facing.
To Wickedfire - We may have started off on the wrong foot, but we hope to up gain your acceptance in the future. The last thing we want to do is rub anyone the wrong way during our soft launch. This issue is causing a lot of "second guessing" from the other three funding sources, and we don't want to burn our bridges.
If anyone has questions, you can contact me at
markhenson@contentgorilla.com. I'm sure we can answer any and all questions regarding this matter. I don't usually contribute to forums as our support staff handles those responsibilities, but I just wanted to clear the air, and to calm everyone down about the partnership between contentgorilla and Deshae.
Deshae - We don't mind you using our lawyers to help with your lawsuits - but we ask that you stop posting immediately about the lawsuits at hand. The lawyers already have a strong case against them, but remember - you're devaluing your case when you make posts like the above. I know you're angry, but take the high road.
