Scrapeboard (creator of scrapebox) now live???

Just picked up a copy, will report back after I have played with it a bit.

From the looks of it, it does have inbuilt captcha solving but it seems limited. But I could be wrong, spent like two seconds with it so far.

in talking with some friends, it appears to have some sort of phpbb captcha solving. I'm tethering right now, but will buy it tomorrow and try it out once I have solid interwebz again. If it solves captchas internally, I'll be very upset she's charging $97 for it and not $500+.

Nothing like that however I haven't bought the tool but one of my friend did and he posted screens. He said they have incorporated decaptcher support that itself means that the tool is not fully internal captcha solver.

I've been waiting for this and just bought a copy myself.

ScrapeBoard automatically solves some image captcha types and text captchas, however for image captcha’s that are not auto solved by the tool you can add the third party captcha service www.decaptcher.com for captcha solving

So it solves "some" captchas, and uses decaptcher for the rest - more at Getting Started - ScrapeBoard

If this puppy is improved and updated as often as scrapebox, it's the deal of the decade!

Well, I do not really agree with you here.

Scrapebox/scrapeboard are the essential tools for NEWBIE internet marketer (and this doesn't mean that they are not serious) to make an initial earning in their journey of IM.

I mean, who would, being a newbie, invest $500 on a software that he/she doesn't even know how to use? So you cannot blame that scrapebox/scrapeboard are not of any use. They are useful tools and are essential to a lot of newbie internet marketers. As they get more and more matured in this journey, they would earn the money to invest in xRumer of course.

Regarding scrapeboard, yes it utilized decaptcher service... Hopefully in their next updates they will improve on this matter.

It uses Tesseract OCR for PHPBB.

If it solves captchas internally, I'll be very upset she's charging $97 for it and not $500+.

I hear you on that one, but I doubt if it will get close to what xrumer is in terms of captcha ability.

For any one whose interested I'll post a short "review" of it in a while.

Me!

When I was just starting, xrumer was one of the first things I bought. Does that make me stupid, don't know, but I did learn a lot from using it.

tl;dr - It's buggy, still in beta (even if it claims it's not). Should you buy it, sure, it's only $100 and it will get better (hopefully).

When I first downloaded the v1.0.0.0 version, half the features didn't work. I tried the updater but it crashed. After I tried a few more times it updated fine and half the problems disappeared (current is v1.0.0.53).

Personally I don't like any of the skin options, they all look ugly, but meh, who cares.

Public Proxy scanner seems slower than scrapebox, but this could all be in my head.

Harvester stopped processing after a while and I had to cancel it but looks like it works ok apart from that.

Made me lol

Google keyword scraper works fine.

Google Page rank option works fine, but you can't sort the rank or any of the other columns. There are buttons next to the listbox to sort them, but it would be nice just to click on the column header and sort that way.

Forum account creator is just retarded, while it works, it will use the same account name for every forum you create accounts on. Save yourself some time and just report yourself here Stop Forum Spam

After doing a quick run, out of 300 urls I managed to make accounts on 8 (actually four since for some reason the urls were listed twice, and before any one starts jumping up and down, yes I removed dupes on the scraped list) and out of the 4 only 1 was activated. I tried the mail activation option but it kept downloading the same 53 emails and would fail to active any of the accounts.

The profile section works fine.

The PHPBB captcha solver works, but its hit and miss and for me at least it was more miss than hit (the sites I scraped were only PHPBB to test it's captcha solving). Be prepared to buy credits from decaptcher and @ $2 per 1000, you're in for a world of pain.

Things that piss me off;

  • The database locking is a PITA. Even when I released the lock it would still complain that I hadn't.
  • Some Listboxes resized themselves to the point I couldn't read what they contained.

Will it get better? sure. Is it going to kill xrumer? nope. At the moment it looks like a poor man's xrumer. This might change in the future, but I don't think it will ever be on the same level.

Is is worth $100 right this second? Well if you don't mind some of the issues then sure, it does what it claims on the box.

Here's what SweetFunny said after people knew about her non-official release of scrapeboard:

Well, all i can say is i wasn't prepared to wake up to this.... The only people who are supposed to have this are a couple of Beta testers and the Staff/Execs. I really wish it wasn't posted until it was officially released and ready but anyhow too late now.

Just a few things, yes there's likely to be a few problems but they will be fixed there will be a lot of new features and updates to come. To compare ScrapeBox here at the same stage it was far more basic than ScrapeBoard is now.

Regarding internal decaptcha, building such an engine takes time. I'm pretty slammed right now, but i am working my way through problem reports and emails.

Edit: unknwn, i don't make anything from captchas in either tool whatever the service changes is what it costs.

she needs to get a junior coder to take over all the bug report fixes and focus entirely on captcha cracking. captchas are a bitch and a half to break depending on the platform and type of captcha, she needs to focus.

Does this support deathbycaptcha? decaptcher eats dick, dbc is cheaper and appears to work better

i think we will have to wait for the final version , not the beta one. But you buy it now , you will have free updates anyway.

"Regarding internal decaptcha, building such an engine takes time. I'm pretty slammed right now, but i am working my way through problem reports and emails."

Yeah, internal captcha solving is huge. I'm sure she plans on marking up the captchas too. So you could be easily paying double for captcha solving if you're using a captcha breaking service. The amount of Captchas you'd blow through would be ridiculous if the internal captcha solving sucked ass.

EDIT: And for the people who think this thing being released as is would be better than xrumer is just insane. This thing looks like it would leave footprints all over the place. At least xrumer has a randomizer you can use. I'm not sure if this thing can do that or not.

I really have no idea how you could have missed this, but he's talking about ScrapeBoard. Ya know, just what this entire thread is about.

Did you see the text he quoted? The person said that if your going to use the same account name on all the forums your spamming then you might as well report yourself to some spam site. DFB uses the same account name on it's blasts.

Why would you be upset? That makes no sense.

in addition to what other people have responded with in regards to noobs fucking up the interwebz with it, it also seems like SweetFunny doesn't price her skills accordingly. An easy to use, captcha solving forum spammer should cost more than xrumer does currently.

Scrapebox should have costed 4-5x what she originally charged at least, but she's targeting broke ass punks at BHW instead at $50.
