selling ringtone info

I've been pushing ringtones for over 2 years and used it as a good 90% of my fulltime income ... lately I'm getting more into app development though so I haven't had as much time to concentrate on running campaigns and a couple hours ago I started thinking about just bundling up all my info (like how to pick keywords/placements, some pics from landers, outlines of a couple different methods, etc) and selling it. Not some bullshit ebook, just a folder with some docs outlining everything, examples of image ads, info about what to put on the landers, and shit like that). I'd sell it for at least a few thousand and anyone who has been in aff marketing for any amount of time knows ringtones are hot shit, low 6 figures would be in the low end of what you'd make, depending on your budget and ability to test and expand shit.

This isn't a sales pitch, I'm just curious if anyone would be interested or if it'd be a waste of time. Because even if I sold it for 10k I'd have to sell it to 10-20 people to even justify spending the time.
 


doubt people would buy it for 10k, and you would have a hard time selling it to 10-20 people at that price anyway. Most people would rather take 10k and test things themselves. With that said you have nothing to lose by trying.

Uhhhh.. your time is so valuable that compiling this folder, using a bunch of material you already have, wouldn't be worth it unless you pull in 6 figures?

I honestly think that this post deserves a ban for the sheer retardedness in addition to the poorly masked stench of guru bullshit.

lol gtfo noob. there is a concept called "opportunity cost" which means if I sell the info and stop running it myself, I lose the money I would have made had I continued to run it. if 10k is a lot of money to you, you fail at life
 
If someone has 10k to spend on something like this and 10k is not a lot of money to them, I don't see why they'd need to buy it in the first place, unless it was seen as some sort of investment. Are you talking about giving away active campaigns which are currently making you revenue?

yeah that's what I'm thinking. Not just some general bullshit but real keywords and examples of landers that I use. As far as why they'd buy it, it's because everyone isn't good at every niche and maybe someone who does dating wants to move into mobile and wants to see some actual examples of what works.

It was just a random thought though, it's not like I'm gonna write an ebook and put it on clickbank so if no one is interested I won't bother.

Honest suggestion - how about old campaigns, that either don't make you money anymore, or only make you a small amount? That way the opportunity cost isn't too high. You couldn't sell it for as much, but you could still sell it for a reasonable amount.
