Seriously?? Please

I used to trip on pot every single time I smoked it.

However, I never murdered anyone. I never murdered anyone on the big boy psychedelics either.

Maybe I'm just not a murderer.

That guy sure looks like a murderer.

Maybe they should have got some cops out to the house instead of staying on the phone for 15 minutes.

If you don't believe me I'll FUCKING KILL YOU.

Pretty sure that dude just killed his wife while he happened to be high and blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

Which was the weed made him 1) hallucinate 2) kill his wife.

Oh boy! It's 20-fucking-14 and people still wanna throw that Reefer Madness spin on these types of stories? Lord knows you'll never hear an anti-alcohol slant in any one of the thousands of liquor-induced crime stories that flood the news every month.

As someone who's done every drug under the sun (numerous times), I've never seen a nonviolent person suddenly become homicidal because of a drug. The closest I've come to becoming needlessly violent was under the influence of alcohol, and once on 80x Salvia (and they sell that shit at smoke shops... legally.)

Something stinks.

Beat me to it...

There are fewer and fewer of these stories now days.

As recently as a decade ago almost all of the weed related stories in the mainstream media were negative. Now, most of the stories I see are either positive or unbiased reporting.

There's also weed stories that regularly hit the front page of Yahoo and other places... that never happened a few years back. The level of acceptance that I see today is heartwarming for an old stoner like me.

That said, there has been a rash of stories about edibles lately. I suspect the prohibitionists are making a last ditch effort to try to get edibles banned. That's doomed to fail though, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Weed pretty much has its own shut-off switch. If you do too much, you're pretty much going to sleep after deciding that the chips left in the bag really weren't stale at all, just kinda "flexible".

Banning edibles, lol. Would be like trying to ban jello shooters.

Agreed, it's great to see all the "pro weed" talk, to the point where even a local radio station in my area has some kind of announcement they do at 4:20 PM. At the same time, I believe a lot of this sudden "acceptance" is purely driven by the realization of the revenue potential that legalization would lay the groundwork for. Despite the primary motive, it's still a good thing IMHO.

You can hallucinate if you rarely smoke or eat an incredible amount of edibles. I took a bag of 10mg edibles(25 in total).. fucking trippy

No, THC is not a hallucinogen. Only way you're going to hallucinate off weed is if it's laced.

Better then saying i thought it was intruder so i blaster my gun through the bathroom door....while perfectly sober.

Absolutely 100% not true.

Yeah, I've tripped absolute nutsack off of bud the first few months I began. I'm talking both visual and auditory hallucinations.

If it still produced that same affect today I'd be a stoner fsho.

Here in San Francisco, marijuana is extremely potent. The Cannabis dispensaries have found ways to make the average Marijuana around 20-25% THC. You can even purchase concentrates about 70% THC content.

Especially to the younger/developing brain, cannabis at that potency can cause psychosis, hallucinations, and anxiety. The local psychiatrist said he's getting more & more kids coming in for mental complications stemming from potent cannabis.

There's nothing wrong w/ casual use, but be wary of slamming bong bowls down of potent stuff.
