Just a quick post to show our gratitude towards the WF community. While we do advertise on other forums, the difference is night and day compared to here.

It's a constant uphill struggle to build traction for a startup such as ourselves. Posting a thread about a "brand new SERP tracker" and all the features we offer only to have it entirely ignored and minutes later a new thread "If only there was a tool to track my keyword rankings etc" that gets filled to the brim with people recommending (in our biased opinion) completely useless software that offers a third of the functionality and none of the polish that ours has, grows tiring very quickly. The same pattern can be witnessed on almost every other forum except here.

To be quite frank, if it weren't for wickedfire, there would almost certainly not be an SEscout. People here (for the most part) seem to be on an entirely different level of overall know-how.

So I guess we're just trying to say thank you Wickedfire. Thank you for being (mostly) not retarded :). Thank you for helping us get off the ground and thank you for your continued support and overall feedback of SEscout.

awe shucks... as Linklover kicks some dirt...

2 things...
I can't stand watching this thing every hour go up and down. Driving me insane. and i love it
second - the day, week and month rank movement... mostly about the day and the side report - are these numbers movements from midnight... so if i increase 1 rank then lose a rank I'm at the same point i was at at midnight?
How does it work? Maybe i should not watch during the day but only once at night?

backlinkgurus, I am loving your tool still! I check it every weekday. One question though, I noticed a fwe days ago you were tracking my keywords in Bing but only have 1 day recorded. I like that feature. Is this a paid only feature? Is that why it is no longer tracking my keywords there?

Yeah, so the positions from yesterday are the last position collected from the day before. For paid accounts, this would be around 11pm pacific time. If you don't have an established ranking, its natural for your positions to jump around. Waiting until the last update of the day doesn't give you anymore accurate rankings.

my alexa rank is 0
thats not what it is on alexa.com

se scout had it right yesterday... but today 0

Posting things like this in the bug tracking section (which I see you have done now) is a better way for us to keep track and prioritize issues. At this moment I don't see anything wrong with other accounts. We are looking in to it.

Do you people just sit around watching your stats all day HOPING they'll go up all on their own?

Here's a big tip to those of you starting out with stat tracking...

ONLY VIEW YOUR STATS WHEN IT'S TIME TO MAKE A STRATEGIC DECISION.

Yes, logging in to check on them once a day is likely too often.

-The only time you should be viewing this stuff is when it's time to make a decision on how to proceed with the involved site's promotional strategy, such as if you need to buy more backlinks for it, or stop promoting it altogether.

SEScout is the best thing online to help you make such decisions, but if you stare at it so much that you're worried about hourly update fluctuations then you obviously are hurting yourself more than helping... Because you're not out earning.

We are working on some bugs, and deciding how we will manage bing. Right now we are thinking about just doing daily bing updates for all accounts, simply because the rate of flux seems to be so much lower than on google.

Really nice, just signed up, and added some sites... this looks promising :-)

By the way, can you add .cat (catalan) to the list of countries? Cheers!!
