Anyone know how to set up an image pixel conversion tracking so that it will tell me which keywords on adwords made the conversion.

The reason I need this is because I am not allowed to use javascript on the conversion page as the advertiser will not allow it - I know stupid. They do however allow an image pixel to be placed within their javascript coding i.e. http://www.mywebsite.com/conversion.jpg or whatever.

If anyone can build this for me, there's some money in it for ya!

You don´t want to reinvent the wheel - so get yourself a tracking solution like Tracking202 Gateway - selfinstalled or hosted...

A free AdServer like OpenX can do the trick too!

Lol it's much easier to use Google's conversion tracking for PPC campaigns and the data is much more easily accessible.

@OP If you get the javascript tracking code from Google there will be an image within the <noscript> tag, just take the URL out of that image and give it to your AM. Will work exactly the same as the javascript code just with less accuracy (barely).

The amount of people who don't even know you can do that is insane.

your a fucking bad ass xentech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's true xentech... good advice and easy + comfortable solution
also I didn´t realize Don was talking about AdWords solely... my bad

Anyways - I basically want to hide as much data as possible from big G.
In this case - no problem at all.
