I think a money making forum should aim to keep it's money making members instead of wanna be's but that's just me. It's inevitable and refreshing to find so many personalities in affiliate marketing. Few affiliate marketers are going to be your average, politically correct citizen.

The thing is though, Jon has stated he's fine with it. He even happily chats with Dresden over Skype.

I think rather than spending all this time cleaning up STS, the time would be much better spent cleaning up the other forums. The only things that should be removed from STS are xrumer bots, service pitchers, and 1 post wonders that deserve to get dickrolled.

He definitely didn't start like that - someone mentioned his beliefs to me over AIM prior to most people on WF finding out - and I've got to say, at that time, he didn't really get into those threads. Even now, he's by no means the first person to open his mouth, and if it starts getting heated, he seems to make a gracious exit fairly quickly.
