That guy made the right call. Gay wine merchants shouldn't go from zero gun experience to buying dozens of shotguns and thousands of rounds of ammo. You can tell that guy shouldn't have a gun just by looking at the shit he bought. WTF are 2 guys (one on oxygen) going to do with that many shotguns? And then they buy shotguns with pistol grips only. LOL that means all they would be doing is "pray and spray". The world is a little bit safer today.

Oh and that guy just put a big red target on his back.

EDIT:

Here's a little more Conan pulling back the curtain.

Just in case Ferguson wasn't shitty enough, let's burn down random businesses and expect them to rebuild. It's like these documentaries you see in South Africa where they say "if you see them start to group up, we have to go". Herd mentality because they aren't educated enough to think for themselves?

There does seem to be an issue with police shooting people far too quickly. The default response has gone from, let's ask questions to let's use the tazer to oh fuck it we'll shoot them if we feel even slightly threatened. Even if he had been beaten on by this guy, if the officer really wanted to protect & serve he should have used pepper spray or anything else first.

There's people looting a Family Dollar. Like wtf? You can loot anything you want and you choose to steal some 2 Liter sodas?

Enough Ferguson for one night.

Rioting makes a nugguh thirsty. Plus they gotta mix up some purple drank back at the crib so they can be all throwed off while they mobbin and lootin.

If I hear "unarmed black teen" one more fucking time.

This was put out in the narrative early on as an attempt to Trayvonize Mike Brown. They saw it work in Florida so they pushed the same narrative.

Nevermind that he was a 320 pound, 6' 3" full grown adult man who just used his "unarmed" status to rob a store, assault a police officer, grab for his gun and turn back around and come towards him again.

I'm just surprised they didn't use his 8th graduation pic in media reports.

These people will know nothing but poverty and ignorance for the rest of their lives. The world keeps on spinning.

How's everyone's morning going?

Young black man shoplifts from store
Young black man resists arrest by police
Young black man gets shot dead by police officer with no history of racism or abuse of power
Grand jury analyzes evidence for several weeks
Grand jury decides not to indict based on said evidence
Ignorant public doesn't get the decision they want, so they call it racism and burn down their own town

Have I missed anything here or is this about the summary of events in Ferguson? Because I literally haven't followed coverage on this case one bit since it happened in August.

The bold is incorrect in two places. First, it's generally considered a robbery instead of shoplifting because he assaulted a store clerk who tried to stop him.

Second, the cop was responding to the robbery, but he had no idea that this guy Mike Brown was the one who had done it. He stopped to ask them to get out of the middle of the road (something they commonly do there to try to provoke conflict with people driving). From there, Brown attacked the cop inside of the car, reaching for his gun. He was shot in the hand and backed up. This allowed the officer to get out of the car after which Brown rushed him and got lit up for his troubles.

Thanks. I hadn't heard about the assault on the clerk. Just that he had taken some cigarillos or something. I don't care what color you are, if you decide to resist arrest and then reach into a cop car for whatever reason, expect to get your ass shot. Sounds like there's a lack of plain common sense in Ferguson.

Swisher Sweets, and yeah, there's a still image from the store surveillance of him choking a clerk about two thirds his height. Thing is, this was all over social media within 24 hours of it happening, but the news media didn't really report on it for almost a week. So the community knew what he had done, knew he attacked the cop, but instead chose to portray him as some innocent kid, shot with his hands in the air, facts be damned.

Yeah, and that takes it from being a non-violent property crime to a violent/assaultive crime with a likely prison sentence. That probably explains why Mike Brown was fighting with the cop because he knew he was in deep shit even though the cop hadn't quite connected the dots yet. Although in the reading of the findings last night the prosecutor said that the Officer did figure it out while it was going down when the description came over the radio and he saw the box of cigars in his hand. At that point he is no longer confronting a jaywalker, but a man who just committed a violent felony.

I still think there should have been a trial even though it sounds justified (grab a cops gun you're probably gonna get killed). Cops play by a different set of rules so they should be held to a higher standard and be very accountable for their violence. Also - body cams.
