My bet is that the most substantial accomplishment of all of these protests and riots will be budget increases in police departments and stronger anti-riot policies (as well as broadening the definition of "riot"). In effect, increasing the number of civilians injured or killed by police on average.
Haven't they disproved time and time again that the guys hand where not even up. But who cares about facts anyways??
They're following the same format as they did with Trayvon. The "hands up" is a symbol that serves as a rally point just like the Trayvon Martin hoodie did.
And just like the Trayvon hoodie, it is 100% irrelevant to the actual case. The hoodie was never made an issue by Zimmerman or by police or anybody else until the comment was made by Geraldo Rivera a month after Trayvon was killed. Then all of a sudden it was grabbed onto as a convenient visible symbol that can be easily shared on social media. Oh look at your profile pic with the hoodie/hands up - you're making quite a statement.
This shit is textbook mass manipulation. If it seems like they used the exact same script with just a few superficial changes, it's because they did. It's the Boy Bandification of the news. Figure out what gets eyeballs, then just shoehorn the facts of a story into that narrative.
Okay but the real question is, when all of these dumbshits start to wake up - what's the best way to profit on their awakening?

Exactly,, two days after Brown was shot there was an incident in SLC where a black cop shot and killed a white kid. He wasn't listening to the cop and was shot and killed, all caught on video with a body cam. Media didn't exploit this and nobody burned down the town after they decided not to indict the cop.
