Quite simply they don't give a fuck. They could shut down any niche in any industry whenever they for for whatever reason they want.

Regardless of what we affiliates think google has the money and expertise to force all of us out and only deal with the owners/companies who own the offers they want to promote.

I think he doesn't understand that the ads themselves are affected and it has nothing to do with the landing page, or he's saying that if you make a badass lander it'll increase your conversions enough to match the amount lost from the shitty ad. The problem with that logic is you don't really make ultra-creative landers for ringtones, it's all the same shit for the most part (if you even make a lander at all), it's not like other niches where you can actually presell it yourself.

Ok I'll explain...

This only effects mobile subscription campaigns. Well, if you have a site (or landing page) that advertises mobile products, that wouldn't require you to add pricing to your ad.

I have several landing pages for ringtones that could easily be argued to be sites that simply have mobile advertisers, and these are doing very well...

You just have to think to build a page "around" mobile campaigns, as oppose to "being" a mobile campaign... It aint hard, and it works.
